Hanin Recognized as a 2026 Fujian Provincial Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise

· News

In October 2026, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology published the 2026 Fujian Provincial Green Manufacturing List, naming Xiamen Hanin Co., Ltd. a Fujian Provincial Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise.

The designation indicates that Hanin has established systematic management practices covering green supply chain strategy, green supplier management, green production, green recovery and recycling, green information platform development, and green information disclosure.

Hanin's approach to green development extends beyond energy conservation and emissions reduction at an individual factory. It covers the product lifecycle from raw material procurement to product recovery and involves hundreds of upstream and downstream partners.

The recognition follows Hanin's designation as a Fujian Provincial Green Factory in 2023 and a Xiamen Municipal Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise in 2025. It marks the company's progression from improving the environmental performance of its own factories to advancing greener practices across the broader supply chain.

Hanin's 2026–2060 Plan Covers the Full Manufacturing Process

Hanin's green supply chain program is guided by its 2026–2060 Green Development Plan.

With green factory operations as its foundation, the plan advances energy conservation, emissions reduction, carbon footprint management and green supply chain development. It integrates environmental requirements into every manufacturing stage, from raw material procurement to finished-product shipment.

Under this framework, Hanin extends environmental, social and governance requirements across its supply chain. The company works with upstream and downstream partners on green procurement, hazardous substance controls and sustainable industry standards, supporting coordinated sustainability improvements across the value chain.

Hanin also participated as one of the main drafting organizations for China's national standard GB/T 43903-2024, Green manufacturing—Green supply chain management in manufacturing enterprises—Requirements for information tracing and disclosure.

Through this work, Hanin contributed its practical experience in green information traceability and disclosure to the development of industry requirements. Its participation reflects the company's progression from implementing green supply chain standards to helping shape them.

Hanin Extends Green Requirements to Suppliers and Production Operations

A substantial share of a printer's product carbon footprint originates in the production of upstream raw materials and components.

To address these upstream impacts, Hanin applies environmental requirements through its supplier qualification and procurement standards. The company works to support lower-carbon development and production of power supplies, chips, plastics and other components while continuing to increase the share of recycled materials used in its products.

This approach means that Hanin's environmental requirements apply not only to the energy efficiency and carbon footprint of finished products but also to individual stages across the supply chain.

In Tong'an District, Xiamen, Hanin's green supply chain development has also been supported by the local eco-environmental zoning-based regulation framework.

The company has expanded from assembly operations into plastic component production, water-based inkjet ink manufacturing and CNC machining. In 2025, Hanin added production projects covering water-based inks, ink ribbons, thermal-transfer ribbons and photo paper, broadening environmental management across its production chain.

Hanin Super Laser Drum Technology Reduces Toner and Consumable Waste

Hanin's green supply chain strategy also extends to product design. One example is its proprietary Super Laser Drum technology, which rethinks the consumable structure used in conventional laser printers.

The technology combines a separate drum-and-toner architecture with a zero-waste-toner design. By removing the conventional waste-toner container and cleaning blade, it reduces the amount of toner that becomes unusable during printing.

According to Hanin's technical data, the design brings toner utilization close to 100%, addressing a conventional printing issue in which approximately 10% to 20% of toner can become waste toner.

The core imaging unit is designed for a service life of up to 50,000 pages, helping reduce replacement frequency and associated consumable waste.

Hanin laser printer products have also received China Energy Conservation Product Certification. By reducing consumable use, waste generation and associated pollutant emissions at source, these product features translate green manufacturing principles into measurable product performance.

From Green Factory Operations to Supply Chain Management

Recognition as a Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise

Hanin's 2026 provincial recognition builds on its earlier green manufacturing milestones, including its 2023 Fujian Provincial Green Factory designation and 2025 Xiamen Municipal Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise recognition.

Together, these milestones reflect Hanin's progression from improving environmental management within its own facilities to advancing greener practices across its supply chain.

By combining proprietary printing technology with green supply chain management, Hanin continues to pursue more resource-efficient manufacturing and sustainable product development.
