The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) has announced the winners of the 26th China Patent Awards. On a list widely regarded as the highest honor in China's patent field, Hanin's instant camera — the "camera printer" that folds a camera and a photo printer into one body — has been awarded a China Design Excellence Award.
China's Highest Patent Honor, and a Higher Bar Than Ever
The China Patent Award program, co-organized by CNIPA and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), is China's only national-level award recognizing granted patents and is widely regarded as the country's highest honor in the patent field.
For the 26th China Patent Award, the evaluation standards were further strengthened as the program was incorporated into China's national commendation and honors system for the first time. Only 48 projects nationwide received the China Design Excellence Award. Selected from tens of thousands of design patents under rigorous evaluation criteria, the number of winners represented no more than 30% of eligible projects.
The award recognizes Hanin's continued investment in industrial design and product innovation. It also adds to a growing list of design honors received by Hanin's instant camera products, including the Red Dot Award: Best of the Best, Contemporary Good Design Gold Award, IDEA Design Award and Good Design Award.

According to research data published by Frost & Sullivan, Hanin ranked No. 1 in China by sales among domestic instant camera brands. The market performance reflects strong consumer recognition of both the product's design and overall capabilities.
A Consumer Trusted Brand for 2026
Earlier this year, Hanin was also named a "2026 Made in China · Trusted Brand by Consumers" in a program organized by China Industry News and guided by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
